It’s by the Sundøy Bridge, where the old ferry terminal is. There is parking right by the main road where it turns toward the ferry terminal. There is a small shed, and we park before the shed, then enter the water on the left side of it, easy access to the water.

It’s best to go at high tide. The visibility is not very good after heavy rain because of the nearby river.

For the dive, swim straight out. There is a large rock formation creating a wall that goes down to 30+ meters. We saw some troll crabs and anemones there. Above the rock wall, at 14 meters, it is covered in seaweed.

Apparently, it’s possible to do a sort of drift dive under the bridge and finish on the other side, but we haven’t tried that yet.

There should also be steinbit in the summer, though we haven’t seen any there yet.
